Nancy Ellen Rorabaugh Carchidi Campbell, age 60, of Secane, PA, formerly of Havertown, died November 23, 2017.

Nancy attended Haverford High School (class of 1976), and graduated from Millersville University in 1980. She went on to earn a master’s degree from Drexel University in 1984. Nancy began her teaching career at a high school in North Jersey, and later taught college level courses at Widener University. During her teaching career she also taught at Delaware County Community College and Drexel University. Most recently, she worked as a teacher at the E3Center assisting students who dropped out and were going back for their GED. She also was an adjunct professor at Harcum College.

In her spare time Nancy loved spending time with her children. She enjoyed traveling; her favorite place was Williamsburg Virginia. She had a fondness for cooking, baking, and working to help her students, and was an ardent supporter of any breast cancer organization as well as the Federal Order of Police. Nancy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved anything Christmas and had a fondness for owls and butterflies.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents Charles Rorabaugh and Jean Ferguson, and sister Diane Rorabaugh. She is survived by her husband Richard Campbell Sr. of Secane, son Eric Carchidi of Havertown, daughter Corey Carchidi of Ardmore, step-daughter Victoria Campbell of Havertown, and step-son Richard Campbell of Drexel Hill.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 30 from 7-9 pm at the McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3924 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE 19803. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, December 1 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow the service in Silverbrook cemetery.
