Fay Carnell Taylor, age 88, of Wilmington, Delaware died on March 9, 2018, at Christiana Hospital after a short illness.
Fay loved nature whether working in flower beds or watching the birds and other wildlife around her daughter’s home. She was an avid puzzle maker and loved playing 500 Rummy with her family.
Fay loved and cared for her family deeply. She was a homemaker. Always willing to listen, advise and help out where needed. All three grandchildren were guided through childhood by her loving hand. She will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick H. Taylor and her parents Raymond and Marian Carnell, Sr. Her brothers Allen and Raymond, Jr. have predeceased her also. Surviving are her two daughters, Nancy Deleski, of Wilmington, Delaware, with whom she lived with for the past thirty years and Patricia Angulo (Jeff) of Myrtle Beach. She was a loving grandmother to three…Bryan Deleski (Wilmington, DE), Philip Yatuzis (South Carolina), and Laura Winning (James), (Winston Salem, NC). She also had one great granddaughter Samantha Yatuzis (Charlotte, NC). Interment was private at Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
