PATRICIA H. EYSALDT

Wilmington- Age 87, of Wilmington, DE passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018.

Fondly known as Pat, she was born in Bismarck, ND and was the daughter of the late Maxine and Fred Harvey. She graduated from St. Mary’s HS in 1949 and received her RN degree from St. Alexis Hospital both in Bismarck. Patricia proudly served her country as a US Army Nurse with the 43rd MASH in Korea from 1954 to 1956. She was a school nurse at Stanton Jr. HS and then an industrial nurse at General Motors, Boxwood Road for 10 years retiring in 1988. Pat was a student of the Academy of Life Long Learning and a Charter Member of Women’s Veterans Memorial. Dining with friends and family was one of her joys in life.

Her husband of 45 years, Nicholas J. Eysaldt died in 2001, her daughter, Kathleen M. Wiggins in 2009 and her daughter in law, Nancy in 2007. She is survived by her son, Fred; a granddaughter, Maria Joyce; 2 siblings, Robert Harvey (Donna) and Nancy Polasky (Don); a son in law, Wayne Wiggins (Norma Carre) and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was also preceded in death by her 2 siblings, Charles Harvey and Kathleen Cowles.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Twin Pines Health Care Center, Westgrove, PA for the wonderful care they provided for Pat for the last two weeks.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 2, at 11 am, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 901 New Rd, Wilmington, where friends may call after 10 am. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
