Robert (“Rob/Robin”) Grant Dick III, age 74, passed away at home on the morning of May 18th, 2018. Robin was born on December 11, 1943 and was a native of Baltimore, MD. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Grant Dick II and Mary Burton Robinson Dick, to whom he was a loving and dedicated son.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eleanore Beste Dick; his daughter, Bethany Anne Dick; his sons, Robert Grant Dick IV (Danielle Rose Van Drew) and Alexander Stuart Dick; his sister, Gail Keller (Richard); Robin’s grandson, Robert Grant Dick V and a large extended family.

Rob, a graduate of A.I. duPont High School, co-founded Buck-Kennett Associates with his brother-in-law, Richard Keller, together developing commercial and residential real estate in Greenville, DE. Prior to Buck-Kennett Associates, Rob was affiliated with Delaware Valley Steel Works and Deemer Steel Casting Co.

Robin Dick was a serial entrepreneur but remained devoted to his family. He loved his dogs, thoroughbred horse racing, and creating his own unique trivia games. He will always be loved and remembered for his one-of-a-kind sense of humor and for being the life of the party, even if it took a little effort to get him there.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his name to Delaware Humane Assoc., 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.

Services will be held privately.
