Wilmington - Louise F. France, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2018, surrounded by her family.

Louise was born in Donora, PA to the late Martin and Anna Zelenak. She married Robert G. France in 1948 and they moved to Delaware the same year. During her career, she worked for Bell Telephone, the Bank of Delaware, and as office manager for John T. Hogan MD. After retiring, she greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends from Talleyville YMCA, Red Hats, and from stamping classes she attended. She also enjoyed traveling, attending cultural events, assisting with charitable events, and making greeting cards using her stamping talent. Louise made friends easily and was loved by many because of her warm personality, sincere kindness and outgoing ways. Throughout her life, her most important priority was her family. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church.

In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Robert, who died in 2005. She is survived by her 3 sons, Robert and his wife Lynn, William and John, all of Wilmington; 7 grandchildren, Joshua, Amanda, Marc, Bradley, Robert, Michael, Julie; one great grandchild, Jordyn; her brother, Richard Zelenak of Richmond, VA, brother-in-law and wife, Jack and Marlene France of Charleroi, PA and sister-in-law Agnes Reynouard of Savannah, GA, as well as many other family members.
