Age 58, of Greenville, DE passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, September 25, 2009
Formerly of Wallingford, PA, Gayle graduated from Nether Providence H.S., Kutztown University and University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
She was an artist and avid gardener, Gayle combined those skills to produce garden art of large leaves which she molded in concrete and painted in beautiful colors. Her creations are appreciated by many customers who bought her works of art. Her other passion was supporting the Brandywine YMCA swim team where Emilie and Andrew spent many hours practicing and competing. She has had many friends in this wonderful community.
Gayle is survived by her loving husband Fred Gschweng; her three children, Christopher, Emilie Gschweng Brown and her husband Joshua Brown, and Andrew Gschweng; mother, Betty Hurd Miller; brother, Gary C. Miller and his wife, Meg of Savannah, GA and brother-in-law, Hans Gschweng. She is predeceased by her father, Robert D. Miller.
A memorial service will be held at the Chapel at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd
Drexel Hill, PA on Saturday October 3rd, 10:00 a.m. with the interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Gayle’s name to the Helen Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE. 19713
