JACOB MANSURE

Jacob F. Mansure “Jake” Age 88 of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2009. Mr. Mansure served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was employed for 32 years with the DuPont Company before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr.& Mrs. John F. Mansure and his sister Violet Handschuh. Jake is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances (Loebe) Mansure; his children, John F. Mansure of New Castle, Kathleen M. Collins of Elkton, MD and 3 grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Monday September 28, at 1:00 pm in the McCrery Memorial Chapel, 3710 Kirkwood Highway at Duncan Rd. Friends are welcome for visitation at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Rd. Wilmington, DE 19810.
