JOHN GANDOLFO

John Thomas Gandolfo Mr. Gandolfo, husband of the late Marianne Gandolfo, died Monday, December 28, 2009. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Angelina Napoli Gandolfo. He retired from ARA Services. A graduate of New York University, he served in the U.S. Navy on PT boats in the Philippines during WWII. He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are his son, J.T. Gandolfo, Jr. and wife, Mary, of Irmo, S.C., daughter, Angela Gandolfo Redding and husband, Art, of Baltimore, MD son, James Gandolfo and wife, Sharon, of Wilmington, DE, sisters, Anna Thomas of Indianapolis, IN, Margaret Ventura of New York City, NY, grandchildren, Jonathan, Andrew, Maria and James Gandolfo. Friends may call on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 3924 Concord Pike, (Talleyville)Wilm., DE 19803. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 4701 Weldin Road, (Liftwood) Wilm., DE 19803.
