EDWARD LOCKE
Edward H. Locke
Age 90, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on January 14, 2010 at home.
Ed was an Army veteran of WW II and served in Alaska and the Aleutian Islands. He was a self employed public accountant in West Chester, PA for many years. Ed was a longtime member of Richardson Park U.M. Church where he also taught Sunday school. He was also a Mason and active member of Fraim’s Senior Center
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Locke, his sister, Dorothy McAdams and his granddaughter, Marissa Gaspari. Ed is survived by his children, Martha Gaspari and her husband Donato, Diana Thompson and her husband Leonard, Robert Locke and his wife Mary, and Richard Locke and his wife Lisa, his brother, John Hettel and his wife Jeanette, his grandchildren, Damian, Michael, Dominic Gaspari, Amanda McFadden, Sarah and Joshua Thompson, Dennis, Kelsey, C.J. and Amber Wolski and 7 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and their families.
A funeral service will be on Monday, January 18, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Park United Methodist Church, 11 N. Maryland Ave., Wilm., DE 19804 where friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Richardson Park U.M. Church.
