“dr. Soos”
Steven W. Culver, who wrote under the pen name dr Soos, died suddenly, Sunday, January 24, 2010 at home. He was 51.
Steven worked for Pep Boys, ENS Auto, and Bafundo Roofing over the years, and most recently wrote online blogs. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, gardening, and tinkering. He was known to his family as the consummate punster, always ready with a little joke. Steven was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and had recently began attending services at Marshallton United Methodist Church.
Steven was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Betty Culver. He is survived by his wife, Connie; daughter, Amy Lynn Culver Meier; and siblings, Ralph Culver, Jr. and Sarah Erhart.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10 am at Marshallton UMC, 1105 Stanton Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. Friends are invited to greet the family beginning at 9:30.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Steven’s name to Marshallton United Methodist School (MUMS).
