ALBERT MCMULLIN
MSG Albert L. McMullin
Age 90 of Bear DE, passed away on February 15, 2010 surrounded by his family. Mr. McMullin was in the first graduating class of McCaskey High School in Lancaster, PA. A veteran of WWII, the Korean era and the Viet Nam era, he served his country for 26 years in the U.S. Army and achieved the rank of MSG. After his military retirement he was employed with the duPont Company for 19 years, retiring in 1985.
Albert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Corinne Guy McMullin; his children, Daniese McMullin-Powell and her husband William of Newark, DE, Albert G. McMullin and his wife Hazel of Lawrenceville, GA and Kevin M. McMullin and his wife Barbara of Bear, DE; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; his brother, James B. McMullin of Lancaster, PA; his sister, Madeline M. Scott of Spring Hill, FL. and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Thursday February 18 from 6-8 pm. in St. Catherine of Sienna Church, 2503 Centerville Rd. Wilmington 19805. A viewing will also be held on Friday morning at 10:30 am. at the church, followed by the funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Port Penn Rd., Port Penn, DE. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
